• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Slow

I recently updated from Plesk 7.0.1 to 7.5.1 and the control panel has gotten very slow. Both logging in and switching between panels.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have 28 domains on a p4 1.7 with 512 RAM, suse 9.1.

The plesk stats page has CPU usage listed as 4.0 for last 1,5,15 minutes.

I think this is normal since linux uses all the memory but I only have 10MB free out of 512.

Its a known "bug", and is supposed to be fixed with the next release (7.5.2 would be my guess).
The control panel is making 2 calls when logging in, so it has to process both before the screen switches.
When I first upgraded to 7.5, the login and screen switches took less than 2 seconds... now it hangs almost 30 seconds for some.
So, I guess we just have to wait for the next release.

just guessing, check the size of the partition where /tmp is located.
In my case it had a big file product of the migration. It was almost full.
