• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Hola,

spamd has the following as one of its startup options:

--virtual-config-dir=/var/qmail/mailnames/%d/%l/.spamassassin

I am facing problems because %d and %l have no content and due to this the virtual-config-dir resolves to /var/qmail/mainames///.spamassassin.

That leads to log entries like the follwing:

/var/log/warn:Dec 27 23:09:32 myhost spamd[14141]: mkdir /var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin: Permission denied at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin.pm line 1536

/var/log/warn:Dec 27 23:09:35 myhost spamd[14141]: locker: safe_lock: cannot create tmp lockfile /var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin/auto-whitelist.lock.myhost.mydomain.net.14141 for /var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin/auto-whitelist.lock: No such file or directory

/var/log/warn:Dec 27 23:09:35 myhost spamd[14141]: auto-whitelist: open of auto-whitelist file failed: locker: safe_lock: cannot create tmp lockfile

/var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin/auto-whitelist.lock.myhost.mydomain.net.14141 for /var/qmail/mailnames///.spamassassin/auto-whitelist.lock: No such file or directory

Actually I have no clue why they have no content? Any suggestions?

Saludo,

franco
