SSL Certificate - use default certificate for domain

Red Paint

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

We have just migrated from 9.5.4 and we were using the default certificate used to secure the panel to secure other domains using a wildcard SSL certificate to secure multiple subdomains.

However, I can't see how it's possible to secure a subdomain (on a shared IP) with the default SSL certificate? We initially set up a self-signed certificate for the subdomains but it seems that we can't remove this link through the plesk interface or select the default panel certificate. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Follow up on this. We went into the psa database and manually deleted the ssl references, perhaps Parallels could create an option to use the server default/panel certificate when choosing an SSL cert within a domain CP?

Just in case anyone else runs into this problem the table you need to edit is "hosting" in the PSA database and you'll need to get the ID of your domain from the "domains" table in the same database.

Once you have this go to the row relating to your domain and set the "certificate_id" to zero.

That will set your domain to use the default server certificate. There is no way to do this through the control panel unfortunately.
