• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question SSl Certificate

fs100YES

New Pleskian
Hi guys, how long does it take for the SSL certificate to show in the pool? I cannot see it in mine and I have been waiting for over 8 hrs now.

Thanks
Kit

Hi fs100YES,

What kind of certificate? DV/OV/EV?
- DV - minutes;
- OV/EV - days (because of more complex verification steps).

It is a DV certificate => it should be processed in minutes. If your domain can be validated, the certificate will be installed automatically (in the case of SSL It)!

Could you describe how exactly you have been issued the certificate? What do you see on the screen where try to issue the certificate? any info message or error?

SSL It shows the below. But I am able to now access my site via HTTPS and the certificate has been issued. Any reason why it is now showing the Letsencrypt cert.

Was the cert issued with SSL It!? If no, e.g. somehow directly with a certbot binary, the cert will not be shown in SSL It! stats.
