SSL for subdomain

Hi, I created a subdomain and i was able to access it via : http://<subdomain>/<domain.com>, but I want to use "https://<subdomain>/<domain.com>". How can I do that? I'm using Plesk 7.5 on Redhat Linux ES 3.0

I believe that currently Plesk does not automatically create the httpsdocs directory for subdomains. So you would have to do that manually, then upload the site files.

Then, since Plesk also does not put the appropriate entries into the domain's httpd.include file to handle the 443 request, you'll have to do that manually as well. And manually create the subdomain's /conf/ directory, etc.

As an alternative, you could purchase the 4PSA Total Domains add-on package which does a better job of handling subdomains than the Plesk CP itself.

I'm also interested in adding SSL for a couple of subdomains.

It's pretty common to have secure subdomains, so someone has probably already done this.

Short of buying the 4PSA Total Domain add-on what are the steps...

Could someone walk through the steps please...

I'm needing to do the same thing, did you ever get a response on this via e-mail or support?
