Question SSL not valid even though it was working before I used Plesk and more...

New Pleskian
Hey,

I am on AWS and had my website secured with https etc.
Now with Plesk it is asking for SSL. I tried uploading the .pem but it says invalid.
Found a guy on the forum that I should try to go into Tools & Settings > General Settings > Server Settings and check the field content of "Full host name". to my address name.

1. The issue is still there the .pem is saying is invalid. Does anyone know how to resolve this? It is asking for a .crt file as well idk where I would get that.

2. When I go into tools & setting --> updates. I just never ending loads... Should I maybe change back to what I had before I changed the full host name?

I am new to this if that isn't obvious yet.

Thanks for any input.

An SSL certificate must be associated with one or more hostnames. Selecting the correct names is very important because the certificate will be valid only if the request matches the hostname (or hostnames) associated with the SSL certificate.
So, if you changed hostname - a new certificate for this hostname is required.
There is a full instruction on how to secure your connection with an SSL certificate: Securing Connections with the SSL It! Extension
I hope it will help you with understanding.
