Update SpamAssassin (PSA 8.0.1, SA 3.0.4)

Thanks Scott,

I started seeing the DCC,Razor and Pyzor messages in the mail logs today!

Update SpamAssassin (PSA 8.0.1, SA 1:3.2.1-2.fc4)

updated from ART.
Everything went fine until
[5255] warn: config: created user preferences file: /root/.spamassassin/user_prefs
Starting psa-spamassassin service: [FAILED]

tried # service psa-spamassassin start
no luck.
# service psa-spamassassin status
The service was not stopped properly.

# service spamassassin status
spamd (pid 7133 7132 7127 5685 5684 5682) is running...

That means spamassassin does not work any more or just the plesk configuration does not work ?

What can I do now, other than updating PLESK core.

Spamassassin still works but the Plesk configuration does not. Log into the Plesk control panel, go to "Updates" and reinstall psa-spamassassin. Then you should be able to start the psa-spamassassin service.

Under Plesk 8.0.1 Components SpamAssassin support check box deactivated.
Status : You have an up to date version

How can I reinstall psa-spamassassin there?

In that case, you will have to uninstall psa-spamassassin from the command line. Terminal into the box and type:

rpm -e psa-spamassassin

Then you should be able to reinstall from the Updater in the Plesk control Panel

It removed spamassassin settings for all mail boxes.

what else can I do ?

Is there any compatibility problems with
spamassassin 1:3.2.1-2.fc4 with psa-spamassassin for psa 8.0.1?

Is there a way to restore deleted spamassassin settings ?
