Upgrade CentOS to 4.3

Hello,

I had a CentOS 4.2 Server with Plesk 8.0.1 installed, and today I upgraded to Plesk 8.1

Since Plesk 8.1 supports CentOS 4.3 I would like to ask how I could upgrade from v4.2 to v4.3 without breaking Plesk.

Also I would like to know how I can install MySQL 5 and PHP5 on my server (again without breaking Plesk) since they are now supported by Plesk 8.1

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

When you run yum update will update to the latest point release, which is CentOS 4.4 at the moment. I've run many servers with Plesk 8.0 on CentOS 4.4 without problems. CentOS 4.4 just corresponds to RHEL 4 Update 4. They support RHEL 4, they might as well say they support CentOS 4.x.

Do you use the default repository file with yum?

Or do you also have added the Atomic Turtle repositories?

Could you please paste your yum.conf so I can be sure that I download from the right sources, in order not to break my server?

Thanks a lot.

I use the official CentOS repositories that are installed by default. I don't use ART's psa channel. (I do use ART's atomic channel, but that's not too relevant I guess.)
