www.mydomain does not work http://mydomain works why

Hi

When i add a new domain in plesk lets say www.mydomain.com and i write http://mydomain.com in my browser all seams to work but when i write www.mydomain.com it does not i get the servers main domaine up in the browser, all my old domains work with www. so what can be the bug here. i have tryed to use both index.htm and index html in the httpdocs but without success i still get the main domain "standart domain" hope any can help

Look at "rename domain" in Plesk and check if www is marked. I noticed that sometimes www is not checked
