I'm still waiting for this to be fixed. The spam backups being generated in tmp literally drains all the resources from my server and it is really annoying!

Any update on this? Plesk has had 2 backups so far but none to fix this problem.

I think the high memory usage is caused by the backup bug. RAM is 6GB Free now but if I run a backup, it goes back to 200mb free and spams my /tmp folder. https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-creating-lots-of-backup-dumps-in-tmp-folder.331796/

What can we do about this though? It's really frustrating! My server gets filled with all those backup dumps in a matter of days. And once the HDD goes full, errors start happening and my database got corrupted last time it happened. :/

Hello again. I managed to resolve my problem. Iptables was blocking port 8443 so all I had to do was allow that port.

I just spoke with my host and they told me to disable my firewall. I did and now Plesk works fine! But why can't the two run together? How to disable firewall: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/disable-linux-firewall-under-centos-rhel-fedora/
