I lost many hours trying to make backup to Dropbox work for my domains until I learnt that I had to have a suposedly unrelated Backup to Cloud Pro extension that I was not supposed to need (at least I did not need it in the past).
I cannot help it if you decided to charge for it, but... at...
Ok,
I think I found the problem...
Some years ago (4 years!) I added a hack to /etc/failban/action.d/iptables-multiport.conf in order to save and reload the bans between restartings:
DISCLAIMER: DON'T DO IT! I ONLY COPY IT HERE FOR REFERENCE, IN CASE SOMEONE ELSE USED THE SAME HACK THAT I...
I am trying to create the iptables --list right now but the system has problem locking the xtables.
Another app is currently holding the xtables lock; still -9s 0us time ahead to have a chance to grab the lock...

Hi,
I have a problem with a production machine.
My Firewall (Plesk->Extensions->Firewall) tells me that I have to apply the changes. But when I try to it simply halts the machine (or the network, who knows) to the extend that I cannot ping it and I have to hard reset the server for it to work...
Trying to apply changes to configuration totally halts the server to the extend that I have to ask for a hard reset to my host provider.
Changes are quite easy. Simply adding some countries to the banning list following Plesk documentation. Nothing fancy.
The first time I tried to update the...
Hi,
My server is not fast enough so I am trying to find ways to improve it.
One thing I don't get is that even when I have nginx set to act as proxy for static files, some of them get into apache2 log.
Can anybody tell me how is it possible?
Example:
access_ssl_log

The post talks about innodb_table_stats but the one I had wrong was innodb_index_stats, so I did what you said and the result was the error persisted.
Anyway I found another post with info to recreate index_stats table.
I matched both posts and ended up solving the problem somehow (who knows if...
I know that dump because it saved my day last week. I ran out of space some days ago and that created some problems, one of them being plesk being unable to upload its own keys.
When I solved the space problem I went to manually updating plesk licence keys (from the interface, not the cmd)...
I do have a server with some 10-20 domains, some of them with tens of gigs and big databases. I do backup domain by domain, daily, using Plesk backup.
But I see no way to backup psa database, or horde.
If the database server breaks in a bad way, I can rebuild the domains one by one, but I cannot...
Some days ago I wanted to back-up psa database and I did it through the only option I could find in the server: Back up from server backup.
That backup tried to back up all server and hosts, so I had to hard kill it because the server is heavy loaded and used.
Anyway hard killing backup...
Just a quick line...
In my case the error appeared when I was forced to hard reset a backup process that I started by mistake (I only wanted to backup plesk config database).
I understood the problem was with those backups being only half cooked so I deleted them from the server.
The problem...
