If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
After running an OS update, it updated selinux-policy and selinux-policy-targeted. After that IMAP and SMTP connections failed. audit log showed:
type=AVC msg=audit(1455928843.778:7419): avc: denied { sigchld } for pid=1213 comm="xinetd"...
If you happen to be still using Courier and Qmail, the SELinux update for CentOS 7 will SMTP and IMAP functionality for Plesk 12.5. Disabling SELinux was the fastest way I could find to fix it. I assume there will be a fix from Odin shortly for it.
Since I can't find how to re-enable SUS on the website, after looking for about the last 30 minutes... and can only find the $39.99/month. I have a question. :) Can I simply buy a new license with the $39.99 plan and upgrade with this new key?
I get this as well, when checking for updates after patching for the last disaster... It's been almost a month since you posted this. I'm about to just bail out on Plesk and simply use a 3rd party mail service and setup my own LAMP server instead. Far easier to maintain it seems.
We bought directly, and when I did call I was immediately told to "Buy a support ticket". Which is why my post may sound a little hostile. I figured out how to fix it, and I found a post on another site that states that 9.5 is actually a major version. Usually keys are good for 7.x, 8.x, 9.x...
Tried to upgrade from 9.3 to 9.5... and that failed due to an expired SUS. I thought if you had the key for 9.x you had ALL 9.x versions?
ALSO, now it's screwed up the key even for 9.3, and no way to roll back the key. Of course, there is no way to contact anyone at Parallels without giving...
One of our clients installed Cold Fusion 8 today... now all domains are asking for a username/password. I've refreshed the components installed. I've run every single repair on the reconfigurator... and nothing is fixing this. Any suggestions on fixing this? Uninstall Cold Fusion and tell...
