  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Resolved Mail Message with: Cron <root@vps2> cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.hourly

    Now that I have successfully completed the move from Ubuntu 18 to 22 thanks to the Plesk backup. I still have a few little things. Question Ubuntu dist-upgrade 18.04.6 LTS to 20/22

    I'm pretty sure it's because port 25 is dense. Because I should at least be able to connect with root@vps2:~# telnet smtp.ionos.de 25. On my other servers it looks like this:

    Question Ubuntu dist-upgrade 18.04.6 LTS to 20/22

    It's purely about mailing to the outside via a PHP mailer, or also mailing Plesk status mails. The mail service on the Plesk with mailboxes is not used. The port 25 is closed, but according to IONOS it is open. I reopened the ticket on the issue with IONOS, but wanted to be sure there wasn't...
