Okay, maybe DirectAdmin is expensive for you, but with sufficient licenses, as we have, it really is more affordable...

Sigh... I am not saying Plesk panel is a bad product, let me be clear on that. Though Plesk is becoming filled with extra stuff/gimmicks which are hardly or even not used at all, at least by our (server) customers. I think the big majority of our Plesk (server) customers, between 75% and 80%...

We all have this from time to time. Myself included. You get sometimes swamped with all the options located everywhere. No worries. ;-)

Don't you normally add this in: /etc/resolv.conf Not sure though. But might be a good starting point. We use our own two internal DNS servers, which are added in /etc/resolv.conf on every server we setup. The two internal DNS servers container several good/ast DNS providers, amongst others.

@grahaml perhaps you have hit your limits hardware wise? Perhaps a reboot has taken place in between? That would (also) explain why it's working again. Maybe try to restart the Plesk server next time if it happens.

@Sebahat.hadzhi I recommended this to a server customer, who experienced this as well, as a possible solution and he reported back that the updated version works indeed. Thank you.

@carlsson For your usage I would also recommend what Kaspar said in terms of Wordpress back-up plugins. However we use our own (written) back-up solution which backups Wordpress website at our datacenter (web files, database and a dump of the tables in question). Retention we have is 31 days...

@Jens Johansson thank you for reporting this, I noticed this behaviour as well, however only early morning (today).

@J.Wick though that might be true, Plesk pricing increased 7 or 8 years ago already substatianlly, I think I created a post about it back then as well as we had price increase of 2400% back then. Might be even a year before that though. Anyways, back on topic, the price increases happened before...

Same here manni... Tuesday we got already two cancellations for upcoming contract term. Now we have three more cancellations in the meantime. Unfortunately we could convince two of them to do a free migration to DirectAdmin. Though we will not lose them as server customers, it will cost us...
