Resolved MariaDB & MySQL in systemctl - correct or not?

Monty, Thanks. I've been working on this since I posted it and finally realized that the "unit" for MySQL was just left in the /etc/init.d/ directory. I removed it, then reloaded the systemctl and presto, it was gone. I've since further tested chkconfig as you recommend and it's not there...

Resolved MariaDB & MySQL in systemctl - correct or not?

Running CentOS 7. Upgraded to MariaDB 10.2 and am confused about both MariaDB and MySQL showing up in systemctl. My understanding was that I was replacing MySQL with MariaDB. Did I mess up a step and not remove something I was supposed to? systemctl list-units --all (with only relevant...

Plesk 12.5.30, CentOS 6, "Error: Unable to check password:" on Login screen

Another update. I checked the permissions of the mod_wrapper and wrapper files and updated them: chown root:psaadm *wrapper chmod 4110 *wrapper Then was able to login successfully with both root & admin and it appears the control panel is working properly. Fingers crossed.

Plesk 12.5.30, CentOS 6, "Error: Unable to check password:" on Login screen

Some updates: I am able to login as "admin" with my root password, but the error reported above continues to happen when I try and login as "root". When logged in as "admin" I get various "permission denied" errors in Plesk, like: Internal error: Unable to exec utility listmng: listmng...

The logs aren't showing anything useful that I can find unfortunately.

Plesk 12.5.30, CentOS 6, "Error: Unable to check password:" on Login screen

Just for the heck of it I ran "/etc/init.d/psa restart", then went back to to login and am now getting this: "ERROR: Call to a member function getURI() on null (Form.php:198) Search for related Knowledge Base articles" I followed the link but neither of the two articles it returns are...

Plesk 12.5.30, CentOS 6, "Error: Unable to check password:" on Login screen

I have run this, but that doesn't help. Unfortunately the license I have doesn't offer my support from Plesk and my hosting company wants $100/hour for support. I'm trying to solve this without paying that. Any other ideas?

Plesk 12.5.30, CentOS 6, "Error: Unable to check password:" on Login screen

Plesk just started throwing this error this morning. After submitting my login/password I get the following error: "Error: Unable to check password:" And yes - that is it. I have tried checking all the plesk/psa/sw-cp-server log files for any information with no luck. I have also tried...
