I fail to understand how this is not a Plesk issue. Plesk is heavily marketed towards the Wordpress-crowd for automation and ease of use. Docker has been set up on my server by the native Plesk-docker-extension. Can it not be expected, that Docker is maintained the same way, my webservers are...

I even locked Docker-updates in Plesk, yet it still updated for the third or fourth day in the row. Is the update-lock currently broken?

Which fix did you apply? Most in the thread are only workarounds. Only switching to overlay2 will fix the issue.

The daily auto-update re-installed the breaking change package. I have now disabled all auto-updates, except Plesk-core.

The current version of Docker Engine 23.0 can also be used, when the storage driver is manually set: https://github.com/moby/moby/pull/43378 But this will lead to a non-functional install when the storage driver is removed in the future. I would be great if Plesk Docker migrated the storage...
