    Debian 7 is not supported by Plesk 8. So, even if you find it - there are no way to install it.

    It is software bug, and fixed in Plesk 11 or 12 (don't remember, sorry). I can only recommend you to upgrade your Plesk installation.

    I am almost sure, that Plesk is not guilty here. You can check IO with usual linux tools to find guilty process.
