Have been getting a bit of SPAM so checked the mailog. Found the following error:
Apr 23 12:25:50 XXXX spamd[3974253]: bayes: cannot open bayes databases /var/qmail/mailnames/EXAMPLE.COMk/chris/.spamassassin/bayes_* R/O: tie failed:
I'm guessing it is a permissions issue - any ideas?
OK. I setup a modsecurity debug log and this is what I am getting for my geo lookups:
No geo data for "IP_ADDRESS_HERE" (country 0)
I have also installed geoiplookup which I presume uses the same GeoIP.dat file and this works fine...
I'm trying to get the following rule to work but it seems to do nothing:
# Test IP address and block by country code
SecGeoLookupDb /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIP.dat
SecRule REMOTE_ADDR "@geoLookup" "chain,id:20,drop,msg:'Block China IP address'"
SecRule GEO:COUNTRY_CODE "@streq CN HK"

OK, ignore all the above. My hosting company Ionos seem to think it is a good idea to not allow port 443 on their default firewall (additional to Plesk firewall). Can't believe that in this day and age they would do that....
Just re-imaged the server and this is still not working... Sites work fine on https, but as soon as I go to https version I get nothing.

This is a brand new...
Hi,
I'm setting up a new Plesk server. I transferred over a few domains from the old box and some worked fine, others didn't.
I'm running Apache and Nginx.
All the non-https ones are OK, but none of the https ones are working. Another strange thing is the domain names resolve fine wherever I...
I found the errors in both the audit log and the apache logs.
This only started happening to me when I changed over to the Comodo ruleset. When I use the OSWAP ruleset it bans practically everything but the ip.pag file doesn't grow.
Makes me wonder if the issue is with the Comodo ruleset. I...
Where you getting errors along the lines of "Message: collections_remove_stale: Failed deleting collection" with this issue?
And did you manage to fix it?
Also, which ruleset were you running?
Am running Plesk 12.5.30 on Centos 7
I just changed my Modsecurity to the Comodo ruleset. This seemed to work fine initially but now the log is full of errors like this:
Message: collections_remove_stale: Failed deleting collection (name "ip", key...
I have looked into this and couldn't find a solution that dealt with wildcard urls followed by trailing slash, was Plesk specific or that I could understand.
Basically I have a few sites that have a directory style structure for locations. E.g. /europe/paris/france/ and that trailing slash is...
