• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Modsecurity: collections_remove_stale: Failed deleting collection

surfgatinho

New Pleskian
Am running Plesk 12.5.30 on Centos 7

I just changed my Modsecurity to the Comodo ruleset. This seemed to work fine initially but now the log is full of errors like this:
Message: collections_remove_stale: Failed deleting collection (name "ip", key "66.xxx.xx.xx_bdfad4a7db1794934cd11307679d21a28ea5d76c"): Internal error

Also the /var/cache/modsecurityip.pag file seems to be growing exponentially as a result.

This version of modsecurity is 2.9.0 and I did read somewhere that there was a logic issue with the garbage collection that was only fixed in v 2.9.1

Any ideas?

Thanks, Chris
