Weird Plesk 12 interface
We have just installed fresh Plesk 12.0.18 but we are getting a very strange interface. There is no option to add resellers or clients. I've attached screenshot.
If I check the license, it says unlimited users/resellers:
>>> I found the solution. go to Server...
Yes, we've seen this error on our Win2k8 R2 with MailEnable 4 and Plesk 9.5.3 while doing full backup. Not sure what it is and how to solve it.
Plesk team?
Fix for IIS 7.5
We found the solution for IIS 7.5. It is a bug in Plesk, it seems that Plesk has the following Executable Path set for *.pl :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\Perl\bin\perl.exe "%s" %s
According to MSFT/IIS , if the path contain spaces, it should be...
If you are using Plesk 9 and removed an IP address from Plesk system, then started receiving the error "Unable to load object of type IPAddressUnable to load object of type IPAddress" when creating domains, the following is a possible solution:
- BACKUP your database FIRST! PROCEED AT YOUR...
Thank you, Igor. I actually finally found it. Seems like SSL Support was enabled for that domain.
So I had to go to Customers -> click on control panel for that user -> click on Website tab -> click on the domain name at the bottom -> then remove the check from the section called "SECURITY"...
Whenever we try to change a domain IP address to shared IP, we get this error:
"The IP address associated with this domain is already used by another domain for SSL support implementation"
This is the latest Plesk v10 Windows 2008 R2 x64
- On the same subject, how do we remove the...
"You can change subscriber for subscription but not move customer between resellers. Look at this documentation - http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk...uide/65124.htm "
REALLY??! It is a must have feature to switch resellers. For exmaple, we just did a migration from Plesk 9.5 to Plesk 10...
*Resolved*
@Michael:
This was resolved in another post, see:
"There is a fix that helps with this dnsmng issue: http://kb.odin.com/en/8652
Might be useful -- we had a case when after applying this fix switching DNS from Bind to MS kept hanging when run from Plesk panel or from command...
Grant the httpdocs folder read/list permission for IIS_WPG service. I think .NET 4 is still not supported by Plesk (among many other things they're lacking behind)
We're having the same issue with Plesk 9.5.2 and Windows 2008 R2 x64. The irony, we were running Plesk 9.2 which did not officially support R2 but all worked ok. Now that we're running 9.5.2 which supports R2, dnsmng is no longer working properly!!!
We're having the same exact problem after upgrading from Plesk 9.1 to Plesk 9.5 on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit, using default Windows DNS server. Nothing in KB, Plesk support does not respond!! Our whole DNS server is not functional anymore:
dnsmng::update() failed: dnsmng failed: Empty error...
As far as I can see in Plesk 9.0.1 that MailEnable quotas are in KB not MB and second there is mailbox quota, and total domain quota (Maximum mailbox quota sort of thing)
We're looking for the same thing, any suggestion on how to get this setup?
The URL looks like:
https://hostname.com:8443/plesk/client@CLIENTID/domain@DOMAINID/dns/
For those like myself who need direct instructions:
- go to the domain admin interface
- look for the column at the top right side that say "Web Site" (Below it, there is typically Edit Site Builder, Web Hosting Settings, Subdomains....etc)
- click on the little tiny arrow next to the word...
We've noticed this bug using Plesk 9.0.1 January 28th release which seems to be the latest available.
It seems that when creating a new SQL DB, Plesk does not apply the correct database quota information. We've tested this with different domains/packages and all showed the same problem...
