  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue WP Toolkit incorrect vulnerability and version reports

This "old backup" site wasn't appearing in the WP-Toolkit UI in Plesk as a separate site, so couldn't be detached from there. Only the main (correct) site in httpdocs was showing, however, deleting the backup site and refreshing the main site has removed the incorrect plugin & WordPress versions...

Issue WP Toolkit incorrect vulnerability and version reports

Yes, I have seen the issue that assets that are updated independently of WP-Toolkit are not reported as being up-to-date until the next day. However, this was reporting out of date assets from months ago. Looking into it further I found an old backup copy of the domains httpdocs (web root)...

Issue "Allow local MariaDB/MySQL server to accept external connections" unchecked after every MariaDB update

I just came here to report exactly the same issue this morning after last night's MariaDB update. I have experienced it before, but can't be sure it's everytime MariaDB updates itself. I've also had the mariadb.conf file reset to default after an update too on one occasion which was quite...

Issue WP Toolkit incorrect vulnerability and version reports

Today I received an email from Plesk notifying me of new vulnerabilities in one of my WordPress sites. However, upon checking these vulnerabilities out, they were for old versions of plugins and WordPress core, and even for some plugins I've not got installed anymore. WP Toolkit seems to be...

Question Where to add custom MariaDB variables to avoid them getting overwritten

Thank you. I'll keep a close eye on it next time the server or Plesk updates itself.

Question Where to add custom MariaDB variables to avoid them getting overwritten

Thank you. Apologies for omitting the MariaDB version - it is 10.11.10, and yes, /etc/mysql/my.cnf is a symlink to /etc/mysql/mariadb.cnf. So, going forward, if I add any customisations to /etc/mysql/mariadb.cnf that file shouldn't get overwritten in the future by any automatic Plesk/server...

Question Where to add custom MariaDB variables to avoid them getting overwritten

We've got Plesk running on a server with Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. I've followed the Plesk instructions here to customise various MariaDB configuration options. It say's on Ubuntu-based distributions to add your custom variables under the [mysqld] section of the /etc/mysql/my.cnf file, which is what...

Question CentOS2Alma conversion: Your expectations and experience?

Successfully upgraded two servers with no issues, but the third fails claiming it needs "At least 358MB more space needed on the / filesystem." However, output of df -m shows: Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on devtmpfs 3971 0 3971...

Issue Git Extension - How to delete old branches?

I'm successfully using the Plesk Git Extension to pull updates from Github to my development and production sites. However, branches I've deleted from my local dev environment and Github are not deleted from the Branch menu in the extension (under Change branch and path). Every branch I've...
