• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Input Warden Antispam & Virus Protection Extension for Plesk

OK, thank You @danami ! Now it is also clear that I always (only) see these queries. See screen. Because the reputation query as shown in your screen, I had also executed today for the first time (several times), which is all reflected in the Abuse backend. Thank you for the precise explanation...

Input Warden Antispam & Virus Protection Extension for Plesk

Hello @Joystick, I am unsure whether a “ another” integration would be good with Warden installed, because there is a setting for abuseipdb in the Warden, look here: Network Tools Settings | Warden Anti-spam and Virus Protection Documentation I have set this up since the middle of January and...

Issue Mail forwarded on the server in the target mailbox is delivered to the SPAM folder

Introduction: I frequently use a mailbox with several alias names and then sometimes have it forwarded to a mail address of another domain on the same Plesk server. I also use this permanently for other domains. So far everything has been fine. Now I register a circumstance: Messages from the...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

From the user's point of view, this is also extremely advantageous for ‘non-hosting’! But because alias names such as mail. pop. smtp. imap. IMHO are never used for hosting... their inclusion across all forms of hosting would certainly be useful (as can be read above). But I see that some...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

Hmm, now I have to hijack my own thread ;-) I don't really understand the concept of what is preventing the creation of SSL certificates without wildcards for hosting domains, **even** mail.domain.tld! Only after many months have I realised why I always have to change the TXT entry in the...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

Ingenious! In other areas, I'm more like ‘Gyro Gearloose’ - your idea forces me to imitate it. Thanks for this input!

Resolved Popup message from WP-Toolkit hangs, no X, restart without change

Thank you so much @Raul A.! I did think of hanging task but didn't remember the menu item in Plesk. You saved the day :-) The tasks causing the two messages could be terminated. But there are 40 more in the list that cannot be terminated. Well, it's more of a cosmetic nature, but it's not...

Resolved Popup message from WP-Toolkit hangs, no X, restart without change

Plesk “crashed” when Wordpress updates were triggered from the WP Toolkit - in any case, Plesk only ran again after I had executed “service psa restart” via SSH. The cause is completely unclear, as I had a normal scenario and there was no server load in the background. There were also no...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

OMG :-/ Sorry for the confusion. Now it's also clear why I can't retrieve a certificate for the newly created domain: I had neglected to change the DNS entries on the external DNS server for mail. and webmail. Annoying! I did this immediately and the button for generating the certificate is...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

Yesterday I checked a few things again and switched two more websites to “no hosting” (where the website runs on a third-party server). Those then *automatically* had a certificate a few hours later and it could also be renewed manually *crazy* - so I can also confirm to @ChristophRo for now...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

plesk bin extension --exec letsencrypt cli.php -d domain.tld -m [email protected] Returns: No web hosting is configured on domain domain.tld (translated from german) plesk bin extension --exec letsencrypt cli.php -d mail.domain.tld -m [email protected] Returns: The execution of cli.php has...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

You are right! There is still something active on one domain (renewal). But the second (newly created) has no DNS configured (DNS deactivated). So it's something else. Yesterday I also tested the CLI interface of Letsencrypt, there were error messages that the www-IP of the domain is...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

Yes! You can see this in my screenshots in the post above. So far, the theory has been implemented perfectly. But it doesn't work yet

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

OK, I'm a little further on, but without success. Regardless of whether the domain was converted from a ‘full’ domain with certificate and www to a ‘mail only’ domain (i.e. certificate renewal) or a freshly created ‘mail domain’: The button for generating the certificate remains inactive...

Question Wanted: Best practice for certificates (Lets Encrypt) two separate Plesk servers for www and mail

Many thanks for the responses! Yes, the manual copying of the certificate is a solution (only copy & paste) of the key and the two CRT, export and import via file fails. The variant of a * certificate is a good hint! Time is money... but someone has to pay the costs ;-) I had also noticed...
