Is this option no more available or am I not getting the point?
My Goal: updating from MariaDB 10.11.11 to MariaDB 11.4.5.
I have set the canBeUpgraded value to true. But I don't have any upgrade button:
Plesk ObsidianVersion 18.0.69
That's not what I wanted to say. Cloudflare does not prevent anything. It's plesk that might have issues with a more complex setup.
The setting looks now correct to me and is working, but plesk is telling about mail.mail.domain.com. This looks dubious:
As I wanted to check if renewal is...
Ok I have found the real issue: Incoming mail to Plesk server is rejected by Spamhaus BL: Error: open resolver I never saw something like that before - world seems to get out of control
So I have to correct: Changing from "no web hosting" to "website" can indeed be the solution...
The mail.domain.com ssl certificate was just not renewed. That how all my problems startet. So I tried to change a few things (like switching to "website" instead of "no web hosting") - no everything is broken.
It's seems to be really hard to configure a mail server when you have multiple...
No idea if this is really working. Probably not in comination with cloudflare.
I just did this after being on "no web hosting" type. My whole email transfer for all domains is now completly broken. So other guys: be careful what you do.
Would like to see this option, too. Thought I would be clever and clean with the "no web hosting" selection for my subdomain mail.example.com. Unfortunately it breaks the Lets Encrypt Reissue.
Yeah this outputs a lot. So I can confirm now, that it's working correctly. It's just that I needed to raise "Time interval for detection of subsequent attacks".
Just to make clear... If you use this values here (source: Protection Against Brute Force Attacks (Fail2Ban).):
It means that an...
Thanks a lot for your answer! Yeah, this is what I am trying to do. I have opened another thread for that. Likely my "Time interval for detection of subsequent attacks" was too low.
But can you answer my question in general: Should both SMTP settings be open for all IPs? It really seems to me...
Investigating this further, it's likely due to a low value in "Time interval for detection of subsequent attacks". I don't know, why the default value is 600 seconds here. Imo this is too low.
I will keep you updated!
I am a bit confused. It seems to be that Fail2Ban is just not working correctly for postfix SASL errors.
Here is an example of my /var/log/maillog:
Dec 16 11:24:49 plesk.spielezar.ch postfix/smtpd[276348]: connect from unknown[185.196.10.158]

Hello
Where do I find the ftp log for login failed attemps? Using the google/forum search lead me to this folder
/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/logs
I have files with name "xferlog_regular". But this log contains only file uploads. I don't see the login attemps itself.
To give some context: my...
Hello
In my logs a see random trials to connect to my mail server. Entries like this
While I am using Fail2Ban. It's still very annoying to see such attacks over and over again. I thought, that I could geoblock it with the SMTP Firewall Settings.
I set this to "Allow from selected sources...
