• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

    plesk 7.5.4 upgrade

The error message is indicating that you have a standard (non-RPM) version of Plesk. I am assuming you have something like 7.5.3 already installed? Or are you actually upgrading from Plesk 5? - Chris

    7.5.4 upgrade question

Can anyone tell me if Apache is shut down during the upgrade from 7.5.3 to 7.5.4? I have upgraded a couple of servers already but forgot to check if it stopped httpd during the upgrade... ideally it wouldn't stop httpd but I can't remember if it did. Thanks for any input anyone has...

    Directory listing

It sounds like the subdomains isn't working at all then if you're browsing to sub.domain.com and seeing www.domain.com. Try removing and re-adding the subdomain. Also make sure you have the most up-to-date version of Plesk by running the updater (Server > Update). Best Regards, - Chris

    Directory listing

Are you sure that you put the .htaccess file in the root of the "httpdocs" directory for the subdomain? It should work straight off when you add "Options +Indexes" to the file. Can you load files from the subdomain - just to make sure it is working? - Chris

    SpamAssassin and /tmp noexec

Thanks for your reply. It was actually the wrong spamassassin running - for whatever reason the service "spamassassin" instead of "psa-spamassassin" was running, so we stopped the wrong one and started up psa-spamassassin and everything started working again. I have read elsewhere that...

    Email IP's

Hi all, If an IP appears in /var/log/secure for an SMTP process, but does not appear in the /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog file, could we assume that the mail had been rejected by Qmail using the Plesk reject mail function? Just curious because there is one IP which stands out in a...
