on my Strato server updates are working fine. Try to run: /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoupdater from command prompt and see if it gives errors.

in Plesk you can use the admin user as root for mysql. Go via tools&settings -> Database servers -> icon at end of line of the correct database server and you will have full access via phpmyadmin

Hi Jay, I updated one of my servers at Strato via my local mirror to MU7 without problems. Are you sure your mirror is completely updated?

I guess it is withdrawn from the app world like it is from itunes. There seems to be a bug in the software and Parallels is working on it.
