    Question Freeing up disk space

I hate to post this as i'm sure it's a very common question but i've googled the hell out of it this morning and still don't have a solution. Using system info I see I have used 95.56% of my 80Gb diskspace. According to Diskspace Usage Viewer my Var/www directory is 7.0Gb So where is all the...

Resolved Scheduled backups don't run and SSL certs not renewing

So I have two servers running Obsidian and have noticed for a while that one of them doesn't renew the Let's Encrypt certificate automatically, No major big deal, I just go in periodically and reissue. However, this morning I just noticed that the same server is not automatically backing up. I...

    Resolved Upgrading question

I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. Upgraded without a hitch. Looks cool and also now with PHP 8 installed. Time to go have a play around. Thanks again Peter for the hand holding on this ;-)

    Resolved Upgrading question

Hi again Peter. I updated all the packages and all seems to be just fine, everything working OK. The only notification I get on the pre-installation check is: Any thoughts on this? Thanks for all your help so far. Dene

    Resolved Upgrading question

Thank you Peter. Hmmm, not the answer I was hoping for ;-) I might update the packages and leave the Obsidian update for a later time as everything is working fine. I was mainly wanting to do it to get PHP 7.4 support. Is that something I can add simply in Onyx?

    Resolved Upgrading question

Hi I want to upgrade to Obsidian from Onyx and just want to know how safe it is to just click the Install Now button and follow the process. I'm also a little behind on package updates. Should I do those first and same question, is is just safe to click Update All? System info screengrab...

Resolved Upgrade from MySQL 5.5.56 to 5.6 (or later)

Thanks both for your advice. I've taken Peter's advice and i'm going to do this on a new server. I just can't do with the headaches that this could cause. I'm more than confident having a play around on an empty server. Thanks Dene

Resolved Upgrade from MySQL 5.5.56 to 5.6 (or later)

Thank you Peter So if I was to go ahead with this using the link above I would follow the instructions for CentOS7? What is CloudLinux? I have a Cloud hosting package with 1&1 but i'm assuming these are different things and I should follow the CentOS7 instructions? Dene

Resolved Upgrade from MySQL 5.5.56 to 5.6 (or later)

HI all OK, i've searched the website for the instructions for this here: How to upgrade MySQL 5.5 to 5.6/5.7 or MariaDB 5.5 to 10.0/10.1/10.2 on Linux But before I proceed to do that I need some assurance. I need at least 5.6 to install Magento 2 but I have 39 databases running 5.5.56 on...

    Resolved Upgrade Question

I struggled with command line installation but you were right about port 8447. Opened that and now all works fine. I installed Fail2Ban and enabled Instrusion Detection | 600 seconds | 600 seconds | 3 Is that all I need to do? Thanks for all your help on this. It's helped me understand a lot...

    Resolved Upgrade Question

OK, I managed to update to 17.5.3 via SSH and all seems good. The problem I have now though is that I want to enable fail2ban which I assume is activated via: Tools & Settings > Plesk > Updates and Upgrades? Same problem now applies though, I click on that link and in the new tab the page...

    Resolved Upgrade Question

Still not able to perform update or access 'Updates and Upgrades' in Plesk. Earlier today I clicked update for over 200 extensions so maybe it's still working on that in the background? Don't think so though as it says all updates were completed. In License Management though it says: Security...
