• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • Our UX team believes in the in the power of direct feedback and would like to invite you to participate in interviews, tests, and surveys.
To stay in the loop and never miss an opportunity to share your thoughts, please subscribe to our UX research program. If you were previously part of the Plesk UX research program, please re-subscribe to continue receiving our invitations.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

    /usr/local/psa/bin/php_settings -u reloads PHP-FPM for every subscription

We have noticed that /usr/local/psa/bin/php_settings -u generally takes about 2 seconds per subscription. With a larger number of subscriptions, for example with 150 subscriptions, executing this command would take about 5 minutes. During the execution of this Plesk command a PHP-FPM reload is...

Resolved Roundcube not up-to-date on Plesk 12.5

Plesk 12.5 is using Roundcube 1.2.1, which was last updated on 15 August 2016. An important security update for Roundcube has been released as 1.2.5, see Release Roundcube Webmail 1.2.5 · roundcube/roundcubemail · GitHub Could this update be applied and released for Plesk 12.5 (and up)?

Issue recipient delimiter support in Plesk

Yes, I have already added my vote, of course. I noticed a Plesk staff member had indicated that the feature will receive attention in upcoming Plesk releases. However, this reply dates from 2015. Starting how many votes would a feature request be deemed as popular?

Issue recipient delimiter support in Plesk

Thank you for suggesting, IgorG. As indicated in the replies to that thread, the work-around provided there has serious implications on the default bounce behavior and does not provide a reliable long term solution. Any chance on an implementation by Plesk?

Issue recipient delimiter support in Plesk

Support for using a recipient delimiter (e.g. $recipient_delimiter in Postfix) with Plesk does not seem to be available yet. This was previously discussed (since 2013) in: Resolved - How to get the recipient_delimiter recognized How can I set it up so I can use VERP with Plesk? Postfix: Not...

    /usr/local/psa/bin/php_settings -u reloads PHP-FPM for every subscription

Thanks for elaborating, IgorG. Plesk Onyx 17.5 is very new. Plesk 12.5 is still supported. Can this behavior be fixed in Plesk 12.5 for all existing users?

    /usr/local/psa/bin/php_settings -u reloads PHP-FPM for every subscription

The command /usr/local/psa/bin/php_settings -u can be used to update PHP Settings for all subscriptions. However, this command seems to reload PHP-FPM for every subscription, which will cause downtime on servers with a larger number of subscriptions. Can this command be modified so that...

    AWstats updates require unwanted work-around

Situation/issues: 1. Plesk is using a bundled version of AWstats (awstats-7.3-14070712.parallels.noarch) 2. A newer version of AWstats was released in the EPEL channel (awstats-7.4-1.el7.noarch) 3. Installing the newer version causes Plesk's web statistic scripts (e.g. "plesk sbin...

Searching large mailbox in Horde/roundcube causes "mod_fcgid: read data timeout"

Thanks for you advice, of course I appreciate it. I am aware of the possibilities of changing the configuration values you mentioned to influence the search query time. However, optimizing this way eventually seems to have too little impact on the search query time. A search query of more than...

Searching large mailbox in Horde/roundcube causes "mod_fcgid: read data timeout"

Don't you agree that a search query that takes 45 seconds (or longer) would be totally useless? I suppose a search query should take a maximum of say 5 seconds, regardless of the size of the mailbox. Compare this behavior to executing search queries on a large mailbox on popular webmail...

Searching large mailbox in Horde/roundcube causes "mod_fcgid: read data timeout"

This is applies to both Horde and roundcube webmail client software; Using Plesk 11.5.30 with Horde 5.1.5 or roundcube 0.9.5 on CentOS Linux release 6.5 (Final). We have seen this behavior occur on multiple servers. Clients experienced slow to no response after executing a search, which...
