  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Forwarded to devs SPF_FAIL for internally forwarded emails

@BC108 Thank you for confirming the bug and the additional insights. I agree, Postfix shouldn't rewrite the envelope-from for internal forwards, i.e. SRS should be disabled for these. @plesk team: Could this be implemented? As regards the HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS I think this is normal...

Small correction (changes in bold): STEPS TO REPRODUCE Switch on mail forwarding for an arbitrary email address A on a Plesk server. Enter a destination email address B that is on the same server, but has a different domain. Make sure the domain of the address A has SPF enabled and the server...

Resolved Plesk PHP 7.4 repo missing data for CentOS 8 / AlmaLinux 8?

I can confirm the problem on all our AlmaLinux OS 8.5 based servers. I think the Plesk people deleted the repository for CentOS 8 (which is out of support) and didn't have in mind that the same repository is used by AlmaLinux OS (and probably Rocky Linux as well). This should be fixed immediately!

    is php 7.1 planned ?

You're right, Plesk 12.5 stable was already released in October 2015. In August 2016 we "migrated" our services to Plesk 12.5 (the current version back then), so that was the date I had in mind. Nevertheless, I still hope that Plesk 12.5 gets support for PHP 7.1 soon. Thanks and best regards, RPD

    is php 7.1 planned ?

Thank you Igor for your reply. I know that Plesk 17.0 and 17.5 has the "stable" status. It's not that I don't want to upgrade, but we cannot do it "in place" on our production servers, we have to "migrate" our services to the new Plesk version. An "in place" upgrade would be too high a risk...

    is php 7.1 planned ?

Hi Igor, there is an official announcement on plesk.uservoice.com, that PHP 7.1 will be available on Plesk 12.5 in the first or second quarter of 2017. See: Make PHP 7.1 available in Plesk 12.5 Now we are in the third quarter of 2017 and PHP 7.1 is still missing from Plesk 12.5. Could you...

Issue Problem with locally injected emails (qmail)

Hello Igor, thank you for your reply. Our sendmail_path in php.ini does already contain the sendmail parameter -i (sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i). Additionally adding -i to mail.force_extra_parameters didn't help either. It is our impression that Plesk qmail-sendmail-wrapper adds...

Issue Problem with locally injected emails (qmail)

Unfortunately that is not an option for us in the near future, because we have a lot of code that heavily relies on qmail. Maybe in the long term we could port our code to Postfix, but that's not a solution we can implement right now. As far as I understand, qmail is a supported MTA in Plesk...

Issue Problem with locally injected emails (qmail)

Hello, we are using the current version of Plesk (12.5.30 Update 45) in CentOS 7 with the qmail MTA. When locally injecting emails, e.g. via PHP's mail() function, every email sent has a dot added to its end (mail body). This also applies to notification emails sent by plesk (e.g. "A new...
