  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Suddenly getting ASL errors today

Maybe i'll mark this as unsolved because the link didn't help for me either. I think the fact that it happened for the first time today means something.

If that's the case, is there a way we can hide the Lets Encrypt link for everyone but admin logins?

    DIGEST-MD5 not working for Postfix

I've been seeing this same issue with my customers since Plesk 12.0.18. All of them (that are failing auth using digest-md5) are using Outlook. Even the latest Outlook in Windows 10 is failing auth against Dovecot. The only way i've found to work around the problem is to disable digest-md5 in...

[PPP-22657] Wordpress Toolkit plugin update bug

I think i've found a bug with the Wordpress Toolkit in Plesk 12.5. When updating plugins, tick one that needs to be updated, then click on Update at the top of the screen. Plesk will try to update the selected plugin across ALL detected Wordpress sites, instead of just the ones that need...

    Can Apache work with PHP-FPM?

That's great if you're on a distribution that has Apache 2.4. Unfortunately it's not available in Debian 7 which uses Apache 2.2.

    Can Apache work with PHP-FPM?

Unfortunately nginx does not support .htaccess files and this is a feature I need. I too would very much like to be able to use PHP-FPM with Apache and not just nginx. Is this is not possible with Plesk (12.5) right now?

    DNS Whitelists

Hmmm i've just tried making a change in Mail settings and it didn't overwrite my change this time. I'm now not sure under what circumstances it does remove that setting, but it did at some stage.

    DNS Whitelists

Is there a way we can implement dns whitelists in Postfix without having the configuration overwritten everytime we apply a mail server config change in the control panel? Eg In /etc/postfix/main.cf smtpd_client_restrictions = permit_mynetworks, permit_sasl_authenticated, permit_dnswl_client...

    Whitelisting localhost and mailing lists

Thanks for the reply @trialotto It depends how you read it. I read it as, "127.0.0.0/8 is no longer added by default because this is necessary for outbound spam protection to function correctly". Why would you have it NOT set by default if you wanted outbound spam protection to work (which...

    Whitelisting localhost and mailing lists

There seems to be confusion and documentation conflicts around wether we should be whitelisting localhost or not when using Mailing Lists. In this documentation it suggests that localhost is no longer needed, and in fact needs to be removed from the whitelist if Outbound Spam protection is to...

Subscription DNS zones can't be synced

I think I know what's going on.....this domain has mail.domain.com pointed to Google Apps (ghs.google.com)....this is what Plesk is tripping over! Plesk looks at the record, sees it pointing to a cname, and doesn't know what to do with it. This is what the entry looks like in Plesk...
