Dear Pleskians! The Plesk Forum will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on Monday, 7th of July, at 9:00 AM UTC. The expected maintenance window is 2 hours.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding on the matter.
Hello everyone again! :)
We've migrated from our old Plesk machine (Onyx with Ubuntu 14.04) some websites.
In one case the certificate was not correct migrated.
Now - we have only the cert files for this website, but not the private key, which is needed, to bind the certificate on the new...
Hello again everyone! :)
We have a high-CPU-usage on a server since a long time.
I've only found out that the processes "/usr/bin/apach" "php-cgi" "php-fpm" are the reason for the high-CPU-usage, but I dont know why.
Can you help me to fix this?
P.S.: Mostly "/usr/bin/apach" ist on ~80%~ and...
He said that the Plesk support would not help in unsupported versions.
I've asked again if he is sure.
It seems like I will have to fix this myself or I will contact the Plesk migrator support.
(I've heared a time ago that they will support migrations from outdated machines, too)
Have a good...
I hope the reseller would do that.
I'll ask him now
I've tried following:
Uncommented all entries in sources.list and added only these lines:
In the next step (after next backup + next snapshot + next reboot! :D) I wanted to try to uncomment all entries in the other *.list files.
But I think...
"plesk repair installation"
- after a while following comes endlessly:
Dou you have an idea how I can fix this, that for plesk repair can finish?
P.S.: The output before the endlessly is:
Thank you again! :D
Hello again! Thank you for your answers! :)
There is a process named: bootstrapper-re
Is it enough to kill only this process id?
Is it safe then to restart plesk repair again, after this process is killed? :)
(when it starts! :D)
Thank you! :D
btw - if I delete the file and rerun the command again, I would make before a backup and snapshot! :)
P.S.: The support answered on the same question as here with: Ubuntu 14 is out of support from Ubuntu and Plesk
I've contacted the Plesk support (reseller) and he said, I should repair Plesk with "plesk repair"
I've made "plesk repair installation" (some days ago) and then there was coming a endless repeating message with an apt error.
Then I've pressed ctrl + c to abort.
Now I wanted to run the command...
Additional we saw, that when a user tries to login, he recieves following message:
"U've overreached the limits for the use of ressources. Please concact the distribution team from Plesk, to buy a new license key"
(Screenshot in german language)
The problem is: Our license should be valid and...
Hello again everyone! :)
We was a bit to slow to migrate all accounts to the next Plesk Obsidian server on Ubuntu 20.04
Since some days we can't login anymore.
On every try he says: The file /opt/psa/admin/htdocs/login_up.php is part of Plesk distribution. It cannot be run outside of Plesk...
I think we should be brave in this case and just try it! :D
We have an Acronis Cloud backup of the full VM/machine.
If we break something we would re-install the VM from the backup.
Last question: Is it for sure that the mails would be downloaded again when we change from Courier to Dovecot...
Next question: If we change from Courier to Dovecot and there are issues: Can we fix the issues with changing back to Courier in the case, we want to stay with Courier then because the issues are to big?
Hello again! :)
The support said:
The SNI-allocation of certificates in Plesk is only working when using Dovecot as IMAP/POP-3-Server.
(this customer is using Courier atm)
Im asking myself if there would be problems when we switch from Courier to Dovecot.
Thank you! :)
I wanted to apply this possible solution, but I got:
# grep SNI_SUPPORT /etc/psa/psa.conf
SNI_SUPPORT true
(its already activated/true)
Do you have another idea how to fix this/enable the Lets Encrypt option?
Thank you! :)
