It was a strange file corruption! No idea how.. I reinstalled the web site and it opens fine now.. sorry for the troubles..

Newer PHP sites are failing.. that is 7.4 and up.. very strange..

After a restart, it seems to be back online. web sites slowly working.. maybe it was some attack..because the web pages were pausing for a long time.. anyway, checking things now..

Thanks.. I just removed the whole 34 webmail.conf files from the troubleshooter.. the troubleshooter now says all is well, but the PHP 7.4 sites are not opening. web server just waits..

I have a suspicion that spamd is NOT called at all if the user disables the spam checking for his/her email. So, the user_prefs is not read in that case.. But it needs to be tested.

This issue still exists.. anyone? I tried turning off the spam protection for a user, but the user_prefs file is unchanged.
