Resolved web does not work

Customers reported that their web sites would not open today.. I restarted that server.. then
I did a PLESK REPAIR WEB -y and it found many webmail.conf files it said were unknown and deleted them..
the web server still does not work.. I had autoupdates enabled, I wonder if yesterday there was an update and that changed things?
I still haven't found the cause.. looking.. -t
 
Yep , there are dozens of deleted webmail.conf files in the webserver configuration troubleshooter..
so strange..

From the Webserver Configurations Troubleshooter., Set STATUS to Error, Select all, then click Rebuild?

Edit: Also after repair, if any remain broken, remove them.

yep I tried deselecting the first and last too..

Thanks.. I just removed the whole 34 webmail.conf files from the troubleshooter..
the troubleshooter now says all is well, but the PHP 7.4 sites are not opening.
web server just waits..
 
After a restart, it seems to be back online. web sites slowly working.. maybe it was some attack..because the web pages were pausing for a long time..
anyway, checking things now..
 
I'm also seeing in the logs a lot of timeouts.. of that one web site...

Timeouts can have different reasons. You mentioned that PHP 7.4 and up are failing. Are the corresponding services plesk-php74-fpm etc. running?

Since the last update early this morning websites inside my Plesk panel started to fail occasionally.

Website log is showing mostly errors like this:

client denied by server configuration: XXXXXXXXXXX

If i reload the website sometimes work, sometimes not.

I tried to restart server, plesk repair all -y but nothing working for now.
 
@tkalfaoglu In that case it probably needs more investigation what the script is doing that became unresponsive. I'd also like to ask whether you see 403 errors in either error_log or access_ssl_log, because there is a new issue that was brought in by an update of mod_evasive last night where the public IP is blacklisted and can keep Apache from responding to the Nginx front-end. Maybe take a look at Issue - Urgent / Big problem with apache/nginx if this could apply to your case, too.
 
It doesn't seem to be... I just tried something very vanilla:

# php index.php

even that doesn't finish.. it just waits forever.. very strange!
the index.php is an ioncubed - php code.. I tried various versiosn but the default is 7.4 on this system..

Interestingly, a

# php t.php

... that just has phpinfo() in it , runs fine.. it must be the ioncube then or something else?
