On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
I am encountering the same issue,
I have a VPS stuck practically every morning because of vhostmng-find process that is causing huge disk activity.
When launching iotop I see the process vhostmsg-find that performs 99.99% of the I/O with the user of one of my sites.
It seems that the only...
I am using Plesk Obsidian on a Centos 7 VPS.
I occasionally have the need to log POST data in received in web requests.
I tried following this guide which says to use "mod_dumpio" (which is already active in Plesk in the server's Apache modules).
I then inserted :

After upgrading a Centos 7 VM to latest Plesk Obsidian,
a couple of websites started returning an nginx "File not found." message when browsing certain subdirectories
that should serve an "index.php" file (like mydomain.com/mysite/myfolder ).
error_log shows :

Hi @Peter Debik ,
thanks for your help.
In my case they spoofed their user agent to "Mozilla / 5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident / 5.0)"
so unfortunately your solution was definitely not working in my case :(
Thanks :)
Too bad there is no way to perform temp-ban GeoIP country blocking through Plesk / fail2ban ,
it would be a lifesaver in these occasions.
I just voted for the feature in uservoice :D
Hi @AYamshanov
Yes, I have full page caching on most part of the website,
but those GET requests are coming to particular pages that are often requiring invalidating cache // DB access.
Hi all,
From a few days I am struggling with website accesses from china that puts my centos/plesk box KO.
It happens that within a second I have a GET request for 100+ different web pages for my e-commerce website that are
spiking my server load average and crashing everything :(
These...
Same issue too when upgrading a centos 7 box from 17.8.11 to 18.0.21 ,
weirdly other boxes with same configuration upgraded flawlessly.
I had checked both /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network everything looks correct
I just upgraded a couple of dev boxes that required downgrade ... From 10.1.41 to 10.1.43 , no issues so far.
I also had several boxes upgraded to 10.1.42 without any issue.
According to jira issue bug only appeared when databases had foreign keys + full text indexes so not all mariadb server...
Hello,
thank you for your sysadmin review , but it looks like a lttle "OT" to me - I am aware of better ways to handle the job but unfortunately there was a precise way I had to do in this way (with an additional disk). :( Now since migrations looks completed I just need to know how to do...
Yesterday I launched the transvhosts.pl script to move two large domains (80G+) to a secondary larger disk because primary disk was full.
Script was taking hours, so I let it run in background...
This morning I logged into server and see that :
- Both domains data were succesfully migrated...
Hello,
last night I noticed that fail2ban banned some GoogleBot IPs (66.249.69.xx) because of the recidive jail.
Maybe Google spiders pointed to some client-denied link and fail2ban triggered the jail.
How can I whitelist the whole google.com / googlebot.com domains from Plesk ?
I see I can...
@virtubox : This is definitely what I was looking for , so thank you for your suggestion !
Have you already experienced installing it alongside Plesk ?
I see that this tool is opening TCP port 19999 and install some OS packages / dependencies...
My fear is that it could "conflict" in some way...
Had several scenarios in "semi-managed" VPS renting where it was requested by the end user to be capable of monitoring 24/7 of the used resources by his server
(for example by monitoring specific scripts or during website bottlenecks troubleshooting) or even to convince him that some slowdowns...
Hi ,
I wonder what would be the best way to offer an end customer / subscriber
a way to have a whole server monitoring tool (CPU usage / RAM / Disk etc.)
in Plesk without giving him Plesk admin credentials, in a single-customer Plesk box scenario.
As far as I understand all the monitoring...
I have the exact same problem,
every static content is retuning 404 after applying what explained here to enable leverage browser caching in nginx :
How to enable leverage browser caching for nginx?
This had been reproduced in two Plesk environments with "PHP-FPM server by Apache" with PHP 7.1...
Hello,
I ask for help to understand this situation - Sorry for being long :D
I installed a domain with Prestashop 1.7 on a Plesk Onyx Centos 7 box with pretty standard settings
(PHP-FPM server by Apache - Php7 Plesk handler).
Domain is using its own user / webspace with the classic "psacln"...
