  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Mailman doesn't send out email, after migrated from Plesk 12 to 17.8

I do see the test messages I sent to a list sitting in /var/spool/mailman/in There are no pending requests according to Mailman. I sent the test messages and monitored the maillog, but nothing was sent out to the list members. For example, I see one message sent to the list in the maillog...

Resolved Spammer sending from root@domain - can't figure out how

I mean I see in the mail log connections from varying IPs, always different. I think what they're doing is sending a "bounce" message and using it to spam others. Maybe "bounce" messages are allowed through no matter what (no authentication?), because I've had trouble stopping it. I tried...

Long-time Plesk user (and Parallels and Ensim before that). This is my second attempt to test Plesk 12, with the same result - I add a brand new site, but my changes to the site web documents have no effect. I found that regardless of what the Apache configuration shows for the site, it is...

Fix for Mailman posts being rejected, due to Yahoo and AOL DMARC policy?

A few weeks ago, Yahoo (and then AOL) implemented a change to their DMARC policy, where an email claiming to be from one of their users, that isn't coming from their domain, is rejected. That's great to stop spam, but mailman (mailing list) email sets the FROM to the original sender (possibly...
