If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
Hi,
I am wondering whether the new Plesk 12 will have support for Ubuntu 14.04 at the time of release? We really want to start working with Apache 2.4 and PHP 5.5 to get much better performance and security.
What about support for Ubuntu 14.04 in the upcoming Plesk 12? I know both are unreleased at this point, but for planning purposes it would be useful to know whether Plesk 12 will support the new Ubuntu LTS when it comes out.
While trying to refrain from "Me too" replies, I still want to say that this problem is heavily affecting us as well. For what it's worth, this MU also creates trouble when using the Plesk migration manager, very likely due to the same cause.
The solution provided by azurro is the way it...
Hello,
After the recent troubles with CGI - we would like to be able to disable CGI entirely (so that even the Plesk admin user cannot even set PHP support to CGI).
After extensive searching I have not been able to find a solution for this, could anyone suggest a way to do this?
I...
I am facing this same issue, and it seems to be something weird in Apache (although the URLs Plesk uses are a little dirty as well).
If you access Plesk directly on port 8443 you get the following request...
Hello sergius,
Is this fix supposed to address the issue mentioned in this thread?
After applying this suggestion on Ubuntu 10.04 with the latest Plesk 10.3.1 the issue still persists. However now rather than just being slow on this phase - it fails to restart Apache in general. I'm...
Hello,
We do not wish to use the automatic update service from plesk, and always disable this function. This can be done using the interface under Settings -> Server Settings.
However as all of the other upgrade steps can easily be done without having to go into Plesk itself, I want to...
I just ran into the same issue, and indeed managed to fix it by editting HelpFuncs.pm.
Does this mean it is officially not supported anymore to upgrade from FreeBSD servers?
In addition, on FreeBSD it does not accurately detect that rsync IS installed.
Hello custer,
Sorry to hijack this thread, but your solutions do not seem to work for me.
Disabling overuse in general is not a possibility for us, as it would be far too unfriendly to customers. We currently do not use the 'Service Plan' feature, as all subscriptions are created and...
Hello IgorG,
Obviously we don't have this addon-plan enabled, and we have set the number of sitebuilder sites to 0. When using the client login, we still see a lot of advertisements for sitebuilder and you can in fact build your site in there (but you cannot publish).
Kind regards,
We are having the same issue as AntonisK - but we would like to make SiteBuilder available only to *some* of our users, the majority should not be able to see buttons for it in their control panel.
Is this at all possible IgorG?
Hello IgorG,
AH! There we go, so you should NOT run that command at all - and it seems to work fine.
Is there anything I should be wary about regarding updates or this file being overwritten by some action done from Plesk?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Kind regards,
Hello IgorG,
It seems that the way I describe in my previous post does not update anything at all. The file I replaced will simply be overwritten, and the changes are simply ignored. For clarity, the APC change does not make any difference at all.
Could you please describe how you managed...
Hello IgorG,
I have attempted to do this on a freshly installed server, and still was not able to set the values correctly.
Just for clarification - the official way to do this according to you is:
replace /usr/local/psa/var/custom-health-config.xml
run...
Hello IgorG,
Do you still have any suggestions as to what I may try to set these options from the commandline? Currently I am stuck as it seems the files are always overwritten from a place unknown to me.
Cheers,
Hello IgorG,
I have tried to restart both of them, without results.
In fact it seems the data in /usr/local/psa/var/custom-health-config.xml is overwritten again when running /usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/scripts/setup-health-monitor.php
So I'm...
Hello IgorG,
This is actually the schema used to verify the XML for input, which doesn't help me much.
I did find another file where the custom XML apparently is stored: /usr/local/psa/var/custom-health-config.xml
On a test server I have replaced this file with my own config and...
Hello IgorG,
Indeed this does seem to regenerate the file and overwrite any changes I make. Do you have any other solution on how to import the XML?
Kind regards,
Hello IgorG,
I have tried to replace the health-config.xml file (first with the file I can upload correctly, but this gives an XML parse error). When I transfer the health-config.xml from another server where I did upload it manually the Health Monitor page actually works, but it shows the...
