the plesk support team once enabled core-dumping for FPM - this is no longer necessary. How can I safely disable it and delete all generated core-files?
I think the problem is solved: As I mentioned in the logs the server did go down for restart (power failure). I restarted it and manually ran fsck . After this the dpkg reconfiguration worked fine and the update process of the packages worked without problems.

actually I want to set up a new PLESK-system on Ubuntu 15.10 but I see that it is not possible because PLESK is not available for 15.10.
Are there any information about the date when 15.10 will be supported?
