If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
I thought this was fixed and that all new files was stored in the /data partition but when I check not I see that this is not the case.
As you see from the image it for some reason starts to fill partition "/" again and its soon reaching its limits.
I don't really understand this.
I have managed to solve this using this procedure:
https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213367009--How-to-change-virtual-hosts-location-in-Plesk-for-Linux-?source=search
I found a procedure which seems to be promising.
https://my.simplercloud.com/index.php?/knowledgebase/article/56/how-do-i-make-use-of-my-data-disk-for-my-plesk-data-files-/
I think I will try this one.
What is strange though is that when I go to terminal I see /disk2/ and all the files seems to be saved there but on th Advanced Monitor it looks like they are saved on "/" which is only 90 + MB
I feel that is strange....
Hello and thank you for your reply.
Sorry for the delay from me, I have been away the whole day.
Yes detecting hardware was the first thing I tried. It reports: No change.
And PLESK had already detected my second drive (HDD) but it seems that the name it's given is /data/ and not disk2 as I...
Hello
I have a problem that makes me confused.
I am running on a Debian VPS
I got 2 disks. One disk is 90 GB SDD and the other disk is a HDD at 200 GB.
The second disk is mounted at /disk2/
When I go to disk2 via SSH I see that all files (prestashop files) are saved at...
Thank you again.
It worked like a charm.
I must say that the support here on the forum is the best I have seen. And I've been to a few.
Very quick and very precise. Thank you very much.
The same goes for PLESK technical support.
But I have an additional question.
I have got the ISP to make a...
Hello
I accindentally installed a wrong SSL certificate to PLESK via GUI and now I am unable to get into Plesk Panel.
I get an error from the browser saying that the SSL certificate is wrong.
I belive I can remove the certificate via terminal but I dont understand how.
I have read the...
Aha.....so that is the reason then.
I wonder when they will fix this if its a bug.
So then I will ask my provider to do a clean installation of the VPS and start over from scratch
Hmm...not sure I follow you here Igor.
I haven't tried to uninstall anything except from the command you pointed me to.
Plesk is still installed and working.
However the folders at /var/www/vhosts (my old path) are stille there. But they are empty. Would that be the reason for "Plesk is not...
When I first installed Plesk it was under
/var/www/vhosts/....
Then I wanted to move it to another HDD mounted as disk2
I used a script/procedure from support and moved it to
/disk2/
But I see now that the files are directly under disk2 and not disk2/vhosts/......
Maybe that is the problem ...
Thank you Igor.
That looks easy.
However I got an error. Look at the attached image.
I used the command : plesk installer --remove-everything
Ans Plesk is still there.

If I want to do a new installation in Linux.
Is it just enough to delete vhosts folder with all the subfolders in it before I do a new installation or do I need to ask my provider to reinstall the whole VPS with Linux and everything ?
