    BIND need to run when using external NS?

    Hello, in the past we used our server as a nameserver, too. But now we exclusively use external ns. Is there still a reason or an advantage to continue running BIND? Can we disable the local ns-serivce thats running on our server, without having any problems or disadvantage? Thanks, fluxx
