  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

2 Plesk Server - Mail Sync

Hi,

ich habe mehrere Server mit Plesk - hiervon dient aktuell 1 Server nur für Emails. Nun habe ich einen 2. Server eingerichtet, der als Failover-Backup-Server genutzt werden soll. Ich habe bereits mit unision einen entsprechenden Job eingerichtet, der das Verzeichnis /var/qmail/mailnames/ auf beiden Servern stündlich synchronisiert - alles wunderbar.

Mittels cluster-IP kann ich den entsprechenden Server aktiveren, jedoch werden bei Umstellung alle Emails erneut abgerufen, ich möchte aber, dass nur die neuen Emails abgerufen werden.

Wie bekomme ich das hin?

Hi,

I have several servers with Plesk, one of them is used only for mails. Now, i have installed a second Server, which should be used as backup-server. I have installed an hourly cronjob with unison, with this i sync the Folder /var/qmail/mailnames/ on both server - perfect..

With cluster-IP I activate the 2nd server, but then I get all mails a second time. But I only want to get the mails, which I didn't got before.

How do I match this?
