• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I had Plesk 7.5.6 installed and then installed Active Directory (thus requiring the server to run as a Domain Controller). After doing this, every time I try to ftp into a domain, I get the following error:

530 User <USER> cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.

I upgraded to 7.6.1 but am still having the same problem. Any ideas anyone? Please help.

Thank you,
Oleg Fridman

is the ftp users location in the vhost directory? wwwroot folder is worthless while using plesk for some reason. make sure the ftp user is pointing to the correct folder in the vhost directory. we had that problem for a while.
