9.3 Domain Alias Stopped Working

We use domain alias to run 10 domains using ccTLD.

I've been trying to add additional domain alias's but the website http host is being set to the main domain that it is aliased to.

for example:

http://fr.etiendas.co works perfectly fine. This was added in May.

but when I add:

http://mx,etiendas.co

the webisite receives the host name of the primary domain (domain it was aliased to) no mx.

I put trap code to display the http host, for .fr it's what is expected, fr.url.co but for mx.url.co it has the primary domain name.

I checked the vhost.conf it has the proper serveralias defs for mx...

The dns for the mx. looks exactly like the .fr except for the names...

I'm at a total loss now...spent many many hours playing with it to no avail. What really strange is that one can use mx.etiendas.co/info.php and get the phpinfo...this made me think there was something with my .htaccess file...I looked at the file...but it never does anything with the host name...I attached the httacess..

...this is my last gasp before moving to another vps and using cpanel (I don't want to!)

the fix will be to move to cpanel...

why did I pick plesk in the first place?
