Access demied, Error message 401.3

I have created an MSSQL database, but when I try to open the webadmin for this database, I get this error:
Access is denied.
Description: An error occurred while accessing the resources required to serve this request. You might not have permission to view the requested resources.

Error message 401.3: You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied (access denied due to ACLs). Ask the Web server's administrator to give you access to 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\sqladmin\mssql\app\connect.aspx'

How do I grant my self access to this webadmin.

you should be able to run this connect.aspx. What permissions are on it?

I have tried to give all users, all rights on both the folder an the file. But nothing seem to work

is it possible to run asp outside of plesk?

I meant from external server.
or ASP application not at Plesk's sites

Yes it is possible, example is ASPupload etc.
Just do not forget to set permissions for psacln group on entire folder for that application in c:\program files (or wherever you have it), and note that you need to reapply permissions after you ran Plesk reconfigurator check permissions.

Hi,
I have tried to give all rigths to the psacln group on the folder databases in the C:\program files\plesk\databases.
But it did'nt help. I still get access denied when I try to open a asp file mla200/silentlogon.asp on localhost.

But i am not sure where to grant all these rights. Could you be a litle more specific?

by the way have you tried filemon?
this could help with access denied problems.

this way:
download it from sysinternals.com
set * filter and set DENIED entries to be marked.
While filemon is working, open the page to get the error
Check for ACCESS DENIED entries causing problems. Grant necessary permissions.
