• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Access to ssh

Pvg

New Pleskian
Hey

I've recently started using Parallels Panel (Plesk?). And would like to have ssh access to deploy a Symfony2 project through capifony. Though when trying to setup the deployment, I can't get through the ssh.

I checked if I had access to ssh through Putty, but I don't have.
As host I'm using the subdomain, I want access to, and the username + password that I've set. Though I keep getting "Access Denied" in Putty. Is there something I might have missed?

Thanks in advance!

First of all. I see your question in 'Plesk for Windows' subforum. Are you sure that you have Plesk for Linux and sshd service is up and running there?

And if you are using a Windows Server, by default Windows does not have SSH support (plus SSH is very limited if you do install it since it's not design for Windows) but you should have RDP access.
