• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115'

Hey,

A website that was working perfectly before updating to 8.2 is now throwing errors:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115'

Unexpected error

/index.asp

A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running.

Any ideas what the plesk update likely changed to cause this?

I think I found the problem.

Part of the 8.1 to 8.2 update must have updated either the mysql client libraries or the mysql server itself. As far as I understand we were already on mysql 5 so it must have been a minor version update.

Updating both MDAC to latest service pack, and then getting the latest MyODBC 3.51 seems to have cleared the problem.
