Admin account can't login on fresh install

Just installed 8.4.0 on CentOS 4.x and the admin account can't log in. Using the same pass that's in the .psa.shadow file. Anyone have any ideas, or know how I can verify that there is an admin account in the DB? I don't know where to look.
