  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Alias domain without redirection cannot be with www prefix

VojinP

Basic Pleskian
I have a main domain, domain.com and it is forced to be opened with www, so www.domain.com. I have added domain alias, alias.com without a redirection, so they share same files, databases, etc. Alias is working just fine except I cannot force it to use www - there is no option in hosting settings for alias. When I try to open https://www.alias.com I'm redirected to https://alias.com ... And I really need to be with www prefix.

Any idea?

Hi VojinP!

Maybe you can find answers at next topic: Domainalias ignores www-redirect from maindomain

TL;DR: For alias domains there is only the option to redirect to the main domain, to avoid redirect - loops and what is far more important, to avoid misconfigurations, which may lead to 404 - errors for your alias domains.
