• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
    With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Anti Virus?

What anti-virus solutions are you guys using? I currently have 4 Plesk-servers, but still have no virus-scanner on them.

I am unwilling to pay $$$ for Dr. Webb. I prefer an open-source solution, so 4PSA is no option as well.

Are there people here who have been able to get Clamd AntiVirus or any other virus-scanner working on a Plesk server with Qmail?

Tnx, I thought they didn't work anymore with Plesk 7.5, but I will try them.

Thank you very much :)

They work just fine. Just be sure to edit your yum.conf file with the appropriate channels. These should do:

[psa-7.5]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - $releasever - SW-Soft PSA 7.5 RPMS
