Resolved Apache 2.4+/HTTP2 in Plesk Onyx soon?

rookey

New Pleskian
Hi everyone,

does anyone have information whether Plesk plans to support Apache 2.4 or higher anytime soon?

It's several years already since Apache 2.4 with HTTP2 support has been released and it's frustrating that it is still not supported by Plesk. :(:cool:

If anyone figured out a way to get a HTTP2 capable Apache version to run on Plesk 17 (w/ CentOs 7), details would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi rookey,

This IS already the case, as you can see at for example:

As you can see at => Index of /centos/7/os/x86_64/Packages , CentOS 7 already provides "httpd-2.4.6-45.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm" as standart, so pls. consider to install/upgrade your current httpd - version with "yum".
If you experience any issues/errors/problems here, pls. don't hesitate to repost it from your command line, so people willing to help you can help you to solve it. :)
