Apache/PHP acting up in a very strange way

Hello,

System:

OS: FedoraCore 2, PSA 7.5.4, httpd: 2.0.51-2.9.5, PHP: 4.4.2-3.

Lately people have complaining that their website wasn't loading, all httpd processes were very slow. And all they got served was a blank/white page with a little red square in the top left corner. I've comfirmed this.

When apache/httpd is restarted everything works fine again, but after a few hours or days (it's pretty random) this problem re-appears: httpd is vcery slow and all it's serving is a blank/white page with a little red square in the top left corner. It also looks like it has got something to do with PHP, because in general *.html files are served normally, only PHP scripts/pages look to be affected.

My best guess was that it had something to do with Ioncube (because of the blank/white page with a little red square in the top left corner, which looks a little like the pages of the ioncube website), but i've got the latest verison of their loaders and even these loaders are disabled, the problem seems to return.

Has anyone ever had this same problem? I can't figure out what is causing this... I have several servers, some alo with the same software and this server is the only one who seems to have this problem.
