• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Apache errors and misconfiguration

New Pleskian
Hi,
I have a vps with centos 6 and plesk 17 and a wordpress website, I had apache 2.2 and I wanted to upgrade to apache 2.4 to be able to install php-fpm, but the site didn't work anymore then, so I deleted apache and I installed apache 2.2.15 back, but now when I open the website, it make me download the php file instead of executing it, I googled the problem and found some instructions to add in the httpd.conf file; I added them but nothing changed, I am really stuck, is there a possibility to completely delete apache and its config files and reinstall it again from scratch ? will that affect the plesk installation? Any other suggestion would be welcomed

Update: Ok, I used
# plesk bin repair --restore-vhosts-permissions
And the plesk repair fs worked without error,
I restarted apache but the initial problem is still there
Execution of plesk repair web
